For Nursery Schools
We design and make custom montessori toys for all your nursery school needs
Montessori toys are designed to support children’s natural curiosity and sense of exploration. They are typically designed to be simple, practical, and engaging, with the aim of helping children develop their physical, cognitive, and social skills.
Some examples of Montessori toys that may be suitable for use in a nursery (for children aged 0-3 years) include:
- Sensory toys: These are toys that engage children's sense of touch, sight, hearing, taste, and smell.
- Manipulative toys: These are toys that encourage children to use their hands to explore and manipulate objects. Examples include stacking toys, puzzles, and shape sorters.
- Imitation toys: These are toys that allow children to imitate real-life activities, such as cooking or cleaning. Examples include play kitchens, play washing machines, and play brooms.
- Construction toys: These are toys that allow children to build and create structures. Examples include blocks, jigsaws
- Role-play toys: These are toys that allow children to act out different roles and scenarios. Examples include dolls, dress-up clothes, and play houses.
It’s important to note that the Montessori approach emphasizes the importance of allowing children to choose their own activities and materials, rather than imposing structured play activities on them. Therefore, it may be more effective to provide a selection of Montessori toys and allow children to explore and play with them in their own way, rather than trying to use them in a prescribed manner.
